Professor Emirc

Full Name: Professor M. Emirc Anagram Name: Emirc is “crime” spelled backward.

Professor Emirc was a scientist, inventor and a member of Stooge Viller’s gang that included Iggie Munny and Burny. Professor Emirc invented tools and devices that Stooge Viller sold to other gangsters, including a pocket-sized acetylene torch, a gun that shot unmarked bullets and an attachment for a car that shot tear gas from the car’s exhaust at the touch of a button.

Professor Emirc also knew that the tendons in pigs’ feet stretched when they were wet and shrank when they dried. He used a pig’s tendon tied on the trigger of a gun to kill Jimmy Epod. Tracy, following up on a large order of pigs’ feet, entered Professor Emirc’s laboratory asking a lot of questions.

Stooge got the drop on Tracy and, with Professor Emirc’s help, tied Tracy up, gagged him, took him out in the country and suspended him down an abandoned well – to die. However, the gang became disenchanted with Stooge as their leader. Professor Emirc and Iggie Munny pulled their guns on Stooge and kicked him out of the gang. Although Tracy ultimately caught up with Stooge Viller, Professor Emirc was not heard from again.
